• What are the benefits of using a liquid bioculture?
  Liquid bioculture is ideal for large STPs where ease of dosing is important. It can be dosed directly using existing chemical dosing pumps, eliminating the need for manual carrying and mixing. The formulation also allows slow, continuous dosing, ensuring a consistent supply of beneficial bacteria with minimal operator effort.
• Does it require activation?
  No mixing or activation is required.
• Can this product recover a poorly performing STP?
  Yes. The product will improve your plant performance. However, if you are dealing with a severe problem, significant loss of MLSS, or a biologically upset system, our technical team will recommend a suitable recovery program.
• Will it affect the existing bacteria in my STP?
  No. Bacteria in Evobac STP do not produce antagonistic chemicals. So they do not harm your existing microbial culture. The bacteria in Evobac STP integrate with the existing biomass and strengthen the biological population. They do not harm beneficial microbes already present in the system.
• Do I need to modify my STP process before using it?
  No. The product works with your existing biological treatment process. No equipment modifications or process changes are required.
• Can I reduce aeration after using this product?
  The product works optimally with DO (0.5 - 1 PPM). However, we recommend that you continue operating the STP as per the design and operating guidelines for your system for at least 1st month of dosing. Most of our clients report a 30% reduction in air requirements, saving on utility costs and extending pump life. However, the cut down in air requirement happens gradually over a month. 
• What if my STP receives shock loads or variable sewage quality?
  Yes. The bacterial formulation is developed to tolerate normal fluctuations in sewage characteristics (20% to 30% COD fluctuations). For repeated toxic shocks beyond this range please speak with our technical team for appropriate approach.
• Can the product be used along with other wastewater treatment chemicals?
  Yes. It can be used with standard wastewater treatment chemicals. Kindly refer to the SOP for more details.

  Yes. Our support continues after delivery. We assist your operating team with dosing guidance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring whenever required.
